Like many HIV/AIDS organizations throughout around the globe, Ubumi Project Africa depends on the generous contributions of like-minded people to provide the services to those most in need. However, unlike other organizations, Ubumi is a small organization that works directly with the community. This means that while larger organizations only guarantee 20% of contributions to reach those directly affected, Ubumi can guarantee that 70-100% of contributions will directly affect those who are suffering, namely impoverished women and children. In the past, Ubumi has worked with schools, church groups and individuals directly to develop and Cuimplement special projects.

Currently, Ubumi Project Africa is working on raising the funds needed to build volunteer living quarters at the transit home. The building will include a few small apartments and an office. Constructing this complex will provide international volunteers with a quiet, free place to live and help Ubumi Project Africa to further develop it's far reaching goals.
